Trail King is awesome as a rear tire in my opinion. I've had HRII 2.4 untill I cut the sidewall few days ago - good tire anyway.

I've been trying to decide on a rear tire for weeks now. It is down to the Tire King, HRII or Ardent, WTB Trail Boss or Wolverine, or Spesh Slaughter. I ride varying terrain from packed, loose over packed, rooty and rocky. I am leaning towards the Conti Tire King 2.2. I wish they made something between a 2.2 and 2.4. What do you think?

Also, you have a MM on the front in the pics, but the spec list has a Minion DHF listed.

I noticed some of the pics have a Trail King on the rear. Did you switch out the HR2 for the Trail King? If so, how are you liking it? I'm trying to decide what to put on the rear of my bike.
