Just saw that as well. Sucks so bad. Hopefully she didn't mess herself up but it would take a lot for her to DNF. I really wanted to see what kind of time she could put up on a cleanish run.

Dirt Magazine goes out of print and now this? Jesus... On a serious note, this is a bad idea for MTB. Are the stupid things fun? Of course they are... It'd also be fun to blast my KX450F up the local MTB trails... It's also fun to shuttle all of the local MTB trails on DH bikes, But most people don't (or they get a lecture and possibly a sock in the nose) 'cause it's totally a bad idea and bad for MTB. Roll down the road a bit and shuttle where it's legal (or, at least permitted) or hit...

The beauty of not having electric assist- The higher you make your way into the trail system, the less gapers and people overall crowding the trails. Electric assist is a horrendous idea. If you're too lazy to pedal to the top, stick to the lifts. At least then we know what trails to avoid. They look massively fun but so does blowing shit up. However, you don't see me in the streets throwing molotov cocktails.

Unless it's custom anno it's not a Stans valve. They're all silver. American Classic did some red ones but they had a red nut as well. Probably just some alloy anno stuff from the web.

Catch22 Added a comment about bike check 2015 Knolly Warden - blue & orange

It's a 35mm clamp (all Knollys spec for 31.6 posts with 35 clamps). I tend to run Salsa clamps on most my builds because they are reliable, good price point, and lots of size and color options.

I absolutely love the Stage. Such a great pairing with this frame. Really stays composed in the chunky stuff but super plush off the top. I didn't really know what to expect from it but it's exceeded all expectations on my Chilcotin and now on the Warden. Won't be switching forks for a long time.

Catch22 Added a comment about product review Chilcotin

When you set that thing up in slack mode you're basically rolling out with a FR or mini DH bike onto a moderately downhill XC trail followed by an intermediate rolling XC trail, of course it's not going to handle very well. My biggest question is why did they set it up that way to start and why not bother to change it up on the way down? I'm not fond of the Fox shock options either (quite frankly I hate them) but the Chilcotin is the best technical climber I've ever ridden with a DBAir on the rear in...
