Valid concern, although it's easy enough to extend the dropper and reduce forces on the mechanism.

These are the best grips i have ever used! the rubber is soft and very comfortable when descending. Also, the thickness of the grip is spot on its large enough to be comfortable while climbing but gives enough on the downs when your hanging on for your life. The grips are cheep and well done, the only downside which happens on most push on grips is the way they tear whenever contacted with rocks.

11/18/2015 5:11am Hanging by there seat. Leaves room for storage underneath them, and doesn't affect the suspension or brakes. Super cheap and easy to install.
