I would think would depend on the layout. If there are stands for the xc then those seats would most likely be ticketed to sit in. MSA didn’t have them and you could walk around and watch from anywhere.

Went to La Thuile and MSA last year. Both were ticketed for just around the finish line and of course you’ll need to a ticket if you want to take the gondola but you could just walk up and watch trackside. For MSA it was tix below the finish line, from the finish line up was free.

Usually there are sections near the finish line that you need tickets for but the rest of the course is free. They are most likely going to be sold through the organizers site closer to the race

that's a qualification rule where you are racing for a spot in finals. seeding you are in the finals as long as you break the beam and it isn't clear what the rule is for seeding in regards to a cancelled final. It's a different intensity for the riders when they know they are in.
