urban DH racing is cool because it's its own thing. and it's amazing. but seeing the last 15+% of a track being pavement in a UCI DH race? crushed gravel at the top of the track? this course is awful and i look forward to the comments from the racers. these men and women are the most elite MOUNTAIN bike racers in the world. is this course a joke? might as well just copy the EWS course selection - they're putting in the work to keep the circuit fresh and challenging...

Not defending it but he was able to pedal to the top, no uplift. Try that on a traditional DH is the point.

Having owned an Enduro Pro and Evil Insurgent, I like my Hightower better. Climbs better just as fast on the downs. I think it really says something, when the specs vary but the times are close. Geo is the main determining factor.

Great Review but wish you had similar tires and similar spec bikes. Some bikes have PUSH coil shocks and Fox factory forks and Meaty Downhill tires like the DHF while other have lower end Fox Performance (not even Performance Elite) forks and Trail tires (Bontrager SE4).

Cost is relative to durability. If you replace a $100 pedal every season then $300 pedals that last 5 seasons are a deal! Nice work though.

Great shoe! Paired it up with XTR trail pedals, feels great. Not the best for walking around in though.
