5/8/2023 10:52pm i did a similar upgrade on my old mtb, no my commuter. if you find a chainring, you can install it on the old XT cranks, i had used 1x SLX cranks so I took them. no front shifter is required for 1x you need new shifter, derailleur and cassette if you have brake/shifter combination you also need new brake...

This makes a lot of sense to me. Also David Trummer has been coached by Markus Pekoll in the past. Pekoll is a former MS Mondraker rider and still has links to Mondraker.

Shredder, forgot to mention Vali Holl, fastest qualifier at world champs last year in her first Elite season-yeah, she had an issue on the morning of the race (practice crash) but she was the only female sending that jump in the mud...definite contender on her new Trek, Rockshox, TLD setup.
