They're placed in a category above the Codes, but the Codes will still exist. The switch to smaller rotors was more for allowing the power to roll on rather than hit all at once. The front wheel was starting to tuck into turns because the wheel would lock up so easily; it was pretty difficult to get any kind of modulation.

Are these the replacement for the code or just code adjacent? As a big feller as well, Ill keep my 220 rotors. The less I have to squeeze my breaks the better my hands and arms feel at the bottom.

I wonder if this is redesigned hanger has anything to do with the chainslap problem folks are having right now. The added weight and lack of cable are causin/allowing the derraileur to flop around more (at least that’s how I interpret the issue). New mount might be aimed at correcting that.

Hill is 5'10ish on a 430mm. rude 5'11 when he was totally rude a year ago on a 424mm. how hard is it to go fast in a straight line? Forward geo is rad for that. Turns turn me on. people on a bike way too big all streched out going into a turn where they can't move themselves or the bike around is too much tuna. Oh and pvd is a jackass

Such a rad episode. Lots of memories that kinda hit close to home. The getting on a bike and pedaling from the house because that's all you had when you were on your own. I even grew up about 20 miles from where he did and still ride that area from time to time.
