1/31/2025 9:35am I have all Crank Brothers pedals, with the Mallets I make the pins on the back of the pedal just long enough to not have that icy feel. It also makes the pedals not have any pins on the leading edge when the bottom of the pedal is exposed to strikes. That is my own peace of mind, probably playing...

I haven’t tested the X-flow myself. Looking at the designs, I would say the X-flow is closer to a traditional goggle with just the lower foam section missing. I suspect it works better than the Purevue would with a full-face, so if you intend to use it with both helmet types I think the X-flow makes more sense. For use with the half-shell the Purevue is really cool. Super aired out yet with goggle-like wraparound protection. The foam blocks are thinner making it run as cool as possible pretty much.
