By far the fastest bike I have ever ridden! I have chosen the Propain Spindrift as my fleet of choice as I was looking for a bike that is very capable on the downs, that could somehow make it back up again. Propain Bikes offered their Spindrift as an Aluminium 180 mm travel Free Ride Bike for a very reasonable price. It was very hard to find reviews on the Propain Bikes due to their rarity but it definitely didn't disappoint!

For a 180 mm Bike, the pedal bob is very minimal whilst seated. Little suspension movement made the bike comfortable to ride but yet very efficient. Upon steep climbs, I did however feel the front wheel wanting to pop up, losing stability, but I certainly did not purchase this bike to climb hills & for what it is, it climbs very well. Upon the Downhills, the bike performed excellently providing a lot of confidence & stability whilst being surprisingly nimble in the corners. The bike stayed very composed in the rock-gardens, sticking to its line with minimal effort! The Long & Low Geometry of the Spindrift is noticeable making for a bike that is incredible stable at speed, yet very twitchy & maneuverable.

As a 90 Kg rider at 6'2 I opted for a Large frame and didn't regret! Running 20% sag in the Lyrik @ 90 PSI & 25% sag in the Super Deluxe @ 250 PSI felt very stable & comfortable. Despite the long chain-stays, the bike felt quite nimble, was not challenging to bunny-hop, and felt very composed in the air. Very happy with my first experience on the Propain Spindrift!
