XC bike for my 5 year old daughter. Trail and error to get her seated confident and comfortably on the bike. The stock 60mm stem was way to long, a 35mm still to long and way to low, the adjustable stem is perfect, and can be changed when she grows a little bit more. She is 122 cm, 4'1" now.
About the Chinese carbon: I'm not at all worried that a 25 kilo (50lbs) 5 year old will ever break her handlebars with some light crosscountry riding. Nor her Chinese pedals. which run incredably smooth btw.
