I know that the R5's are not rare, when I said it was exclusively used in rallys I was talking about the very one on the pictures. And for the name it is just that the car is not mine and the owner would have prefered to be blurred.

Forgot to blurr the name indeed 😬. But actually this car is exclusively used in Rally races such as the Tour de Corse Historique.

Great custom paint job, normally when someone uses stickers instead of painted decals I'm less stoked but I think it's probably more authentic in this case?

I would have loved to paint the logos but It was way to risky and time consumming for a begginner like me. Add the fact that polyurethane paint is hella expensive so I did not want to make any mistake. The frame is protected by an Invisiframe film so it smoothes the surface and blend the paint and stickers quite well.

Tell me more about these self lubricating bronze pistons. Do you mean bronze or brass?

I do mean bronze, I machined them few months ago but did not had time to test them on long rides. On paper they will make the oil heat quicker but they do slide better than ceramic pistons and are indestructible. I like to work on my bike so I regularly purge my brakes, the quick heating might not be a problem for me.

A friend in High School had an R5. Once a month he'd take it out, find a cop, get chased, loose them and park it in the garage for another month.
