My experience with the South Korea World Cup.  I thought driving was easy, especially with the blue and pink lines on the road at interchanges and the Naver nav app worked well.  The food was pretty good and had one Korean BBQ that was outstanding. Definitely get a bed in your room which I did and heard from others that didn't that is was not good.  Did see the ominous black trashcan in the restrooms which by the clogged nature of the toilet (not plural) at the finish line, no one else did.  No other restrooms at the finish line available and many taking a nature break behind the snack stand.   Not sure about the whole tickets and fan zone.  I bought 3 of each for all three days and we used a total of 1 fan zone ticket for a can of soda and were never asked for a DH ticket and wouldn't know where I could have used one, so that money wasted though I did give out 3 or 4 others which were maybe used for beer. Did a tour of Seoul which was cool, definitely recommend the street food market and could have spent much more than our allotted hour with size and variety of food.  Overall good trip, super glad I went and  had fun and was able to experience another culture but not sure I would really want to go back with my limited WC travel options.

Fanzone ticket paid for itself if you were a beer drinker, there were nice toilets at the back of the two storey building near the finish line.

Ahh the Fanzone. Too bad the "security" there didn't actually know what passes were what. I had a VIP pass and was turned away at the DH fan zone, but welcomed with open arms at the XC 🤣. Waited like 20 minutes for a single over-priced beer at the cafe building as a result.
