I've run mine on DH around 6 an 4X for about 3 years in wet muddy UK Conditions  and never had to touch them. The bushing system over bearings means the axles can be made thicker and MAN are they strong. True Story, on a ride in Scotland I got bucked in a rocky section. I came down totally off kilter all over the bike an ended up sliding down a large, smooth off camber rock section grinding on my downside pedal. Sparks flying an rode it out! My pedals just shrugged it off..

The thick body has a super deep concave that coming from BMX, I find more important for grip and feel than any amount of long pins which these pedals have 14 of anyway. I have NEVER slipped or flipped a pedal

I would happily have these on every bike I ever own

I have had these pedals for several years and they have held up great even without any rebuilds. The bushings may not spin as freely as pedals with bearings, but under foot I do not notice that at all. They have held up to countless rock strikes and the spindles are both still very true. As one noted, if you use them frequently in wet weather, you will need to take them apart every once in a while to clean and use a slight amount of grease. It only takes a few minutes for each pedal to do so and all you need is a small flat blade screw driver to get the clips off.

I have found they have good grip in all kinds of conditions and they have a nice large platform. The pins also hold up very well and Straitline includes some spares if you need them.

Some say they drag because they run on bushings rather then bearings, this is almost not noticeable. I have run them dh and enduro for three years and never been bothered with this. Maybe serviced them once a year or even less, no play and very little friction. Also I do not grease them as other reviewers have mentioned as the bushings are self lubricant. They are basically fit and forget.
