World Cup folk, if you're travelling through the UK, please seek private advice on where it's good and safe to stay.
A Premier Inn ("motel") that's essentially right next to the M1 motorway is not recommended. If you leave a van parked outside it will get taken or broken into. Even if our police had time they're not allowed to do anything because we've spent the last 20 years stripping them of their power and suing them whenever they do do anything.
