Hey all,
I am heading to NZ for a couple months on a 'extended' holiday with my kiwi partner. I'm going to bring a bike, just trying to choose which one.
We're spending a couple of weeks on the south island in Wanaka, and the rest on the north.
I'm choosing between a alloy enduro rig which is close to 40lbs, and a capable enduro hardtail.
My question being is the full enduro rig overkill, or would I regret not having the beefy bike? I may do a day in the bike park but that's definitely not the point of the trip.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

If you want to ride any of the bike parks, 100% the capra. You can always pump the tyres/suspension up for other locations.
the other option is the torrent and rent a DH/enduro bike
Definitely the big bike
I've been to NZ a bunch over the years, been based in both islands on numerous occasions, and have always had a 160mm enduro bike with me. Literally never once wished I had anything else. Easiest decision ever.
Capra it is, thanks team!
