Dual piston brakes on a downhill rig?

Does anyone run dual piston brakes on their DH bike?
Got a set of hope x2s to replace the avids on my sx trail. Wanna know if they'll stop any harder than the avids or if I should just send them back.

Hope brakes are well known for their stopping power. I'd say you should give them a shot.

Which Avids are you replacing? The X2 is Hope's XC-oriented offering, so it might be an unfair comparison.

I have Formula T1's on my downhill bike and they are crazy strong. I'm 215 geared up. I have Oro Bianco's on my trail bike and they are sufficient. Not what you have but how you use it

Thanks for the responses! I ended up running them and they were a big improvement. They replaced Avid Elixir R's
