They probably dont have the funding to be in operation 7 days a week. Maybe when they see more business this will change.

Actually its because the weekday traffic would just be too sparse to make it viable. At keystone, for example, the lifts are already on for the tourons so there's no reason no to open the bike park since the lift operation represents a big chunk of the daily overhead.
