I am planning to launch a Kickstarter for a bike rack I have designed for trucks, check it out at RIDE88.COM. I have a patent pending on this and hoping to Launch it June 7th. I am reaching out to get feedback on this project. It will be my first Kickstarter but I have been designing products for over 25 years in Moto and MTB for a living. Just invented this solution and I feel it's worth making available to everyone. Any feedback is worth hearing...

Job well done! Looks like a rad product. I love how easy it looks to use.

That's a cool idea. I agree, the truck bed is the best place for a bike. That's the best design I've seen so far.

Glad to hear these reactions. I gotta say it puts a smile on your face when you throw your bike in back and drop the lever. You kinda win the parking lot exit race every time.

How narrow does it go?

This goes right into the why the F#+% didn't I think of that. Made one similar years ago but not anywhere near as refined.
Nice work!
I'll be hitting you up when production starts for a 3 bike.

It will take skinny road tires and goes up to 4" fat tires. The wheel cradles are v'd so the wheel just settles in. I will get a pic up later to show this better.

I was meaning how narrow does the bar mount go? How narrow of a truck bed will it fit in

If I had a truck, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

This is great! I've had trouble before carrying bikes while also pulling a camp trailer. This would solve that without having to remove wheels.
