Dirt bikes on mtn bike trails

I find my self sometimes on my dirtbike on mtn bike trails. I use them to get from one dirtbike trail to the next. My question is how much trouble can you get in riding these trails? The trails are apart of a "mtn bike trail society" and there web pages says "no motorized vehicles. But is it illegal? The trails are on crown land, and I have insurance.... I am not trying to be a dick about this but I am trying to wrap my head around this mtn bike concept. Who enforces the "no motorized vehicles"

I'm not trying to be a dick about this but I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that you don't get the concept of a sign that says "No Motorized Vehicles" on a trail.
Legal or not its a dick move...
Leave your moto on the approved trails.
If you cant get to them without Illegally poaching trails from your house don't be a lazy T#@t and load your vespa up in your truck and drive it to the approved trails.

We have "non motorized trails" and motorized. But last year the mtn bike society decided that one of our trails was going to be one of there's . It is not a big deal but it is one of our main trails that we use to access our other trails. I am going to keep riding it, I was just wondering if it was against the law. I just want to be clear on one thing, mtn bike trails suck to ride on a dirt bike and I never ride them just because.

Probably not a good idea for access rights if sign-posted otherwise... but being a moto guy who is now full on in MTB, I don't get how MTB people are so protective about the condition of the trails... Who cares if they get rough?!

I also don't get how everyone seems scared of the mud?

It comes from a land access issue. If you are a land owner and you finally approve a trail and come to look at your land, and it is just a rut that is hard to walk, you're likely going to revoke access to mtn bikers. Also, not all trails are meant to be rough. A flow trail is designed to drain well, but when it gets rutted it is muddy all the time, again making the trail look like crap, causing land managers to revoke access.

Lol at how many mtn bikers ride trails that have proper signage clearly stating no mtn bikes and how many known illegal trails we maintain and ride regularly yet we are so set in our ways that we should be entitled to ride and alter these trails at our own discretion
I just find it kinda funny. But looking back at snowboarding, it was banned almost everywhere when it first came
out , and if it weren't for people pushing the boundaries of that it wouldn't be what it is today
History shows. Authority says no , people push. Eventually authority
changes for better or worse

Any ways. Been drinking a bit and rambling on. If you do happen to be on these trails ( doesn't bother me at all, as long as your having fun in the great outdoors) KEEP IN MIND, we can hear YOU but YOU cant hear us
I always will pull over for our more horsepower oriented two wheeled brothers out there , but some poor crash pad might not

Ps ruts are fun , and yes I've ridden both. The big problem here is bikers on mtb specific trails. Doesn't bother me as my dad is an avid runners. Goes wherever he wants and couldnt care less "who's" trail it is
They invented brakes that can stop on a dime in 2 feet of mud for Christ sake lol
As soon as I see a hiker I slow down to a crawl no matter the trail , I race dh so my speed is generally up there and I never have any issues slowing down. It's just plain respect for your fellow like minded men and women out enjoying what God created for us to play in

Ok last drink.....
Happy trails
PPS no atv fags hahaha
