So while watching some of the videos this morning waiting for MSA coverage to start it dawned on me that of the bikes I seen it was pretty much split between Moto style(right hand front brake)& traditional bicycle set-ups how do you set-up your bikes I started on motorcycles at a early age and then, when I got my 1st bicycle with hand brakes I found it beneficial for me to switch after talking with my father we switched it never went back can't imagine riding any other way now.
I run my levers much higher though... It helps alleviate arm pump on the MX bike for me and I carried over into MTB.
Couldn't imagine trying to ride other way round, but then i've no reason to mind you.
I've talked to a few people who run their brakes "euro-style" and have a dirt bike, they said they don't have any issues going from mtb to moto and vice-versa. Pretty sure Gwinny does it like that too.
