Steamboat is launching a new bike park in 2012. We don't have many details yet, but you can get a taste of the action this summer.

"Come out this September and get a sneak peak of the Steamboat Mountain Bike Park. We'll have three trails: E-Z Rider and Wrangler Gulch, both green trails, and Buckin' Bronc an expert jump trail. Open weekends, get the special Fall Bike Park Pass for only $25. The Steamboat Bike Park is scheduled to open summer of 2012"

as per the map on Steamboat's site, it looks to be about halfway between Fort Collins, CO and Grand Junction, CO

First chairlift I ever rode with a bike was at steamboat in 2000.

Step it up west coast, colorado and the east are making you look stoopid at the sport you pretty much created.

It's pretty much in the middle of no-where. Steamboat is a destination resort as the other major resorts are a bit of a drive from it. Great AM trails that are not within the resort boundaries...worth the trip.
