Mammoth Mountain Ready for Shredding 2

Mammoth Mountain is now open from the top! The Gondola was spinning all last weekend, bringing riders up to California's highest downhill mountain biking terrain at over 11,000 feet.

Several more trails are set to open for this weekend (6/22), including Break Through, Bullett, Follow Me, Flow, 7 Bridges, Ricochet and Uphill Beach Cruiser. Up to date trail information is available here.

"The early season riding has been stellar," said bike park supervisor Mark Hendrickson. "There's still plenty of moisture in the ground, makes for some nice fast, flowy rides. The hard work we've put in over the last couple years to expand and enhance the park is definitely evident. I'm almost jealous of the folks that get to ride this stuff for the first time."

Mammoth has also put in some nice work off the mountain, with the new Yodler BierGarden, a nice option for a post-ride beverage.
