I'm not super surprised. I feel like its less of a contest and more of a huckfest. at the same time, doesn't the crankworx whipoff get live broadcast?

JoJoRider kinda has it. These are all riders who have either been riding behind the scenes, largely ignored by the contests, or riders who have been there and done that and just want to ride without having to whine about judging. While some of the riders might take Red Bull money, this isn't the kind of "Contest" that they sponsor and support. Though I think that there have been some Red Bull kickers in the vids. I'm full of it. Red Bull is probably too busy doing their own thing.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Fest just plain wanted it to be their own series and to keep Red Bull out of it.
