Tested - $360 Wheeltop Electronic Derailleur System OX1.0 2
A few months ago, Wheeltop sent us their Electronic Derailleur System (EDS OX1.0) to test. We were excited to see how it performed considering its affordable-for-a-wireless-system $360 price tag. Within a week of our review being completed, to our surprise, Wheeltop discontinued the EDS OX1.0 system and replaced it with the EDS OX2.0 which looks very similar to, but not identical to, SRAM's Eagle AXS offerings. The EDS OX1.0 is now no longer available for purchase and Wheeltop has removed most, if not all, of the details and documents about the 1.0 system from its website. The EDS OX1.0 wasn't without its faults, but it was promising with great battery life, shifting speed and versatility The OX2.0 system looks more refinied with features like an adjustable clutch (missing from the 1.0), and we'll try to get our hands on the new system for testing.
