Good length
Single lock-on was tough to tighten enough to stop the grip from moving
What can I say that Kyle Strait hasn’t already about these grips? They are a larger diameter, and I have seen a improvement in hand fatigue and arm pump after installing them on my Enduro. My previous go-to were the ODI x Vans grips (I don’t think my love for those will ever wane). Very long grips- I had to move my controls in slightly to fit them on the bar. I have found them to be comfortable in my grip- I do wear gloves, so bare knuckle riders, YMMV.
Overall feel and style: 13 stars for the Gum rubber- if you get, you get it.
Two points keep me from giving these grips five stars for function:
1. The grip pattern and rubber compound make for super soft feeling grips; but I do worry about long-term durability. I’ve scratched up one of the end caps just leaning it against a rock face.
2. I really had to crank down on the lock ring to get the grips to stop spinning- I ride carbon Renthal bars, and this is the first time I’ve had this issue. I don’t think I’m damaging my bars, but man, I had to crank them down.
Overall rating: Since I have to settle for five stars max, I award these Meaty Paws full points. Sorry for partying.
