Affordable Goggles That Perform

Rating: Featured Member Review
The Good:

Price, lens options, color options, comfortable

The Bad:

Hard to fault

Overall Review:

The Strata have been a great goggle over the course of the past year. They have seen local laps at Summit to Whistler rain and mud. I've swapped out smoke lenses on sunny days to clear lenses for the fog and rain and it was a quick process that I could do in the parking lot. I did not experience any fogging with the lenses, so they have that going for them. This may differ from others experiences. As a bonus, they are super comfortable all day long and come in a number of color and strap options. Microfiber case is a nice touch too. For the dollar amount, its hard to find any faults with these.

Solid Goggles for the Weekend DHer

The Good:

Price, quality, tons of color options

The Bad:

Lacks a few of the features of the higher end offerings

Overall Review:

I’ll start off by saying I am not a hardcore DH rider that is smashing laps five days a week, so I did not feel like I needed a super high end goggle. I hit up the bike park when I can as well as a few local DH trails. I was looking for a stylish google to replace my scratched up Spy goggles, but one that would not break the bank. The Strata has the feel of a higher end goggle and seems like it will hold up well. The graphics on the strap are a nice touch and I like the contours on the frame itself. I did not have any issues with the lense fogging up, but I haven't ridden in any colder temps yet so time will tell. I like the bag that comes with as it works as a lense cleaner, no scratches thus far. I did notice that the goggles push down on my nose a bit with the few full face helmets I

I did notice that the goggles push down on my nose a bit with the few full face helmets I tried them with (including my troy lee), but this may be due to the weird shape of my nose and not the shape/ size of the frame. Overall these goggles tick all of the boxes in terms of what I was looking for and look good to boot, definitely a great value for the recreational to mid level DHer.

There when you need them!

no cool helmet strapping system like the others

Overall Review:

I really enjoy the simplicity of these goggles, for the price I don't think they can be beat! While shopping for goggles, I noticed that any pair which has a "helmet strapping system" employed on the outer frame of them, are much more pricey and I never thought that made or unmade a goggle anyways so why not give these a try and I'm glad to say that I did.

They come in a handy case that you can use to clean the lenses, there is a silaconestrap imprinted on the main strap to keep it from moving while you have it on and the lenses are super easy to take in and out. All of these features are not revolutionary in the goggle world and most companies have them but it's the price that separates these goggles from all others. All of these features are not revolutionary in the goggle world and most companies have them but it's the price that separates these goggles from all others. They are an up and coming brand that is trying to make a real name for themselves against big companies like oakley and smith and I respect their strategy to get people a great product at a reasonable price, so I'll keep buying the goggles as long as they keep cranking them out like this! The color selection is huge as well, so you can get a goggle to match any of your kit options out there.
