Tricky conditions for the Air DH final today. A constant worry was what to do on the jumps. Boost, scrub, roll or hold on and hope? Gee, unbeaten in L2A held on...and won again. -Sven Martin

This has been a constant sight every day, all day between pulling off injured racers and injured bike park users. The tracks here are FAST and STEEP. -Sven Martin

Brendan Howey, not quite the DH course. Soak this shit in, quit your job, book your flight. -Sven Martin
Myriam Nicole. Ive notice at races when her eyes really stand out in shots she always tends to do well. Not making this up for the caption but the hunger is always evident. First place with a crash in the mud. -Sven Martin
Tracey Hannah, not afraid of the wind in her race run. 2nd place with a big gap back to third as her big brother continues to search for his inner Warner. -Sven Martin

Description
The rough, raw and exposed Air Downhill course in Les 2 Alpes was not kind to racers competing in the iXS European DH Cup. Braking bumps, off-camber singletrack and big jumps took out a large handful of competitors as the wind on race day was strong and challenging. Gee Atherton continued his domination at the venue by winning another race here and Myriam Nicole stood at the top of the Women's podium, even with a crash in her run. Sven Martin and Lee Trumpore were trackside documenting the action.
