Hand-made bikes aren't just reserved for Neko Mulally these days. In the pits at the first round of the Downhill Southeast, we stumbled across Corbin McDonald's hand-built frame, made by his father, Mark Mcdonald. As fabricator for Detroit Speed in NC, Mark was the lead builder on Ken Block's Hoonitruck and knows his stuff when it comes to keeping things light and strong. The tubing is called Docol R8, an ultra-high tensile strength steel, 15% stronger than cromo and won't crack like cromo. If there ever was something to drool over, this is it!
