Dripping with Shimano’s latest and greatest XT Di2 wireless drivetrain, FOX’s cutting edge 36 SL fork plus carbon fibre components from Race Face and DT Swiss – the IZZO Core 4 tops the trail bike food chain. Precision handling and all out speed aren’t the only party tricks here – it looks sharp too.

Shimano's long awaited wireless XT Di2 drivetrain has made it onto the spec sheet. Lightning fast shifting is the name of the game when combined with the Hyperglide+ cassette and chain, while the new derailleur's Shadow RD profile minimizes rock strikes, featuring impact recovery tech to fend off ride-ending encounters. The new shifter provides a class leading tactile feel with 4-way paddle customization, multishift capability and an integrated third button for on-the-fly adjustment. The XT M8200 brakes also get a complete overhaul thanks to a redesigned caliper, new lever ergonomics and lower viscosity mineral oil for more consistent power under braking.
FOX provides the 140mm travel 36 SL fork, their lightest 36mm stanchion platform to date. Thanks to a new arch design it's 20% stiffer than the equivalent 34, and the under-the-radar upgrade is the new Glidecore airspring – which offers more consistent performance throughout the travel range, using elastomers to maintain alignment throughout the travel and prevent binding. A signature YT touch is an upgrade to the gravity focused Grip X2 damper, giving the aggressive trail rider maximum descending performance. The FOX FLOAT Factory shock drives the 130mm V4LR linkage, aiming to replicate the control and feel of a beefier shock thanks to a larger diameter piston and valving.
DT Swiss’ XMC1501 Spline trail-rated carbon fibre rims are laced into high engagement 240 DEG hubs, wrapped with fast rolling Maxxis DHR II tires front and rear. The Race Face cockpit uses a 50mm Turbine R stem, alongside the carbon Era handlebar constructed with compliance in mind. Rounding out the spec is Race Face’s strongest & lightest ERA crankset (with lifetime warranty), ODI grips, plus Postman V2 dropper with an SDG Bel Air 3.0 saddle.
The IZZO Core 4 CF weighs 13.9 kgs in size S (with a tubeless setup, no pedals, no bottle).
