Method Frameworks is a new venture from Scottish frame manufacturers Five Land Bikes. For years we have been the manufacturing partner to some of the industry’s most respected brands - cutting tubes, welding, machining and painting frames to the highest possible standard in our workshop in Edinburgh. You might even be riding around on a frame we’ve built.

Method is Five Land Bikes advanced development division that lets people get hold of frames that we have designed and built in our workshop directly from us. These are the frames we want to ride ourselves and that make use of all the cumulative knowledge we’ve gained from over a decade of hands-on making.
Our location at the foot of the Pentland Hills, the world class riding of the Tweed Valley nearby and our harsh Scottish winters give us an advantage in creating functional, capable bikes that thrive in the toughest conditions and work when you need them to.

A Bit About Us
Originally product designers, we got our start as frame fabricators at Shand Cycles in 2013. We (Matt and Callum) started the B2B manufacturing company Five Land Bikes in 2017. Since then we have been lucky enough to build for lots of brands that are great at what they do and are committed to supporting UK manufacturing. Folk like Cotic, Mason, Swarf and Frameworks.
We are rider owned and 100% independent. All Method frames are designed, tested, fabricated and finished by the team in our Edinburgh workshop. Looking after every aspect of the manufacturing process means we can prototype faster, learn harder and ensure the highest level of workmanship which ultimately means better bikes.

Our bikes are made to be fun, hassle free and long lasting. We wanted to make bikes that are easy to live with so you’ll see external cable routing, threaded BB shells, plenty of scope to carry bottles or kit and proper corrosion protection.
To get the ball rolling we have a short travel titanium hardtail and a steel gravel frameset.
ZAPR
Our fast, fun, short travel ripper.

A modern day short travel trail bike totally capable of XC laps, big days out loaded up or making the most of your local single track.

This fun loving hardtail was designed to do it all and put a smile on your face. Its short chain stays and light weight make manuals, hops and twisty turns a breeze.
