We need to be more clear about slapping the "Made in the USA" tag on the BIKE. Bikes should come with labels like cars, which detail exactly where the major components are made.

In the case of this bike, one could argue that it's not really American, as everything except the frame is American-made. There are a lot of American companies represented here, but let's not get too jingoistic about 'Murika. Fox, for example, used to be "Hecho en Watsonville." They've quietly moved most production to Taiwan.

Nobody would argue any of that. This isn't an automobile where the manufacture is required to list the percentage of foreign and US content. Most people who would be purchasing a bike like this, at this price, would know what is made where. When a bike company says "Made in the USA", its widely known that means the frame, not the components.
