Built for riders who demand uncompromised protection, ventilation, and performance, the ATB-3 represents a major step forward in lightweight construction, fit, and safety.
Derived from the proven ATR-3 motocross platform, the ATB-3 carries forward the power of 6D’s fifth-generation Omni-Directional Suspension™ (ODS) system, refined and optimized specifically for cycling. Unlike traditional helmet designs, the ATB-3 is built around a significantly scaled-down shell, resulting in a noticeably smaller, lighter, and more balanced helmet.
At the core of the ATB-3 is 6D’s patented Omni-Directional Suspension™ (ODS), a rebuildable dual-liner suspension system designed to reduce energy transfer to the brain across low-, mid-, and high-velocity impacts. By allowing controlled displacement and shear in all directions, ODS mitigates both linear and angular acceleration, delivering protection capabilities unmatched by conventional helmet designs.
The ATB-3 features a 3K carbon composite shell with expanded ventilation architecture. The Air-Gap™ ventilation system with Ram Air Direct-to-Brow Cooling channels airflow efficiently through the helmet, keeping riders cool during high-output efforts.
A newly refined chinbar design maximizes field of vision, while the bicycle-specific adjustable visor is optimized to deliver a larger field of view and action camera adaptability. Designed with rider safety in mind, the ATB-3 also incorporates cervical spine relief, clavicle cut-away zones, and an integrated sternum pad to help manage impact forces in critical areas.
