My son got this Lego set for his birthday. It’s so sick I had to order one for myself. The truck has elasticized suspension!
I bought a model of my Hightower from @timchenko.taras on Instagram after I saw the SC 5010 launch video with Handy McCaskill from maybe 2018? I love it but my then toddler got a bit rough with it.
Anyone else got anything for desk breaks mtb fix?
That's amazing. How much was the model bike?

I can’t even count how many of these I had on my desk, in my backpack and in my pockets all through middle school.

I was more of a spin master die cast guy. Less plastic, more metal. Shorter lived brand with no resurgence. Impossible to find now. Bikes were more accurate/proportional. And broke less of course. I miss making entire X Games dirt jump tracks in my yard. Simpler times. Now I have to dig REAL jumps and that shit aint easy lol
$70 US which included shipping. That was four years ago. Not sure how much he does them for now.
I've never seen those before - but I also have a tech deck BMX bike. Not the same but a close subsitute.
They made a ton more.
If you poke around you can probably find them all. From my memory they had a Foes Mono, Turner DHR and Santa Cruz Chameleon and an Intense M1. I semi regret not hanging onto a single one.
Haha I feel the same about a lot of the toys I had growing up! It is a bit surprising that Tech Deck have a couple of dozen bmx toys but no MTBs. I guess it's more about kids and x-games sports vs mtb being comprised of more grown up kids. I just messaged Spinmaster who make Tech Deck toys so we'll see what they have to say.
