So basically I was trying to add a volume spacer to my 2025 Float X performance elite, everything went fine until I tried to move the air sleeve back up, I think there’s too much air in the negative chamber, but the override won’t work because the air sleeve is down, what should I do?

Can you bolt it back in to the bike and use that to compress the shock?

To clarify,

You have the shock reassembled but its sucked down?

1st think I'd try is if you can get it installed back on the bike, hold the rear wheel down and pull up on the seatpost to extend the shock.

If that doesn't work, try sliding a small zip tie past the seal to release the pressure.

Thanks for the help, I ended up unbolting it from the bike completely, which let the air sleeve slide down enough to release most of the pressure

Always air down the shock for service before you remove it from the frame. That way you can use the leverage of the frame to hold the shock at the equalization dimple and empty both positive and negative chambers at once. Seems like you've got that figured out now, just leaving this here for the next person who finds this thread.
