Hello Vital hoard, I was wondering if anyone on here could help me see if it would be possible to run a standard offset wheel with the newest model Cannondale Jekyll frameset? There are having a pretty good sale on them going right now but I also don't want to spend $200 to rebuild my wheel to fit this thing at the same time.
They have some stupid proprietary offset thing that would have to move the hub approx 6mm to towards the non-drive side.
I have a Weareone Strive carbon rear rim laced to a I-9 1/1 rear hub with the standard 12 x 148mm boost spacing. Maybe I'll just avoid the jekyll all together and just get the new druid frame instead...
So I had this bike, and I think you'll like it. So good score on that front.
Yes, you can run a non AI wheelset just fine on it, it just means things will be a millimeter or two off between your front and your rear, but not the end of the world.
I got around it by just redishing a wheelset to the AI standard, a decent shop should be able to help you out just fine with that (no spoke change needed).
That all being said... I did sell my Jekyll for a Dreadnought....
hahah thanks for the advice man, I think I will just end up holding off and waiting to get the Druid once they come back into stock (if they ever do that is...)
