I'll admit it, I'm probably the last person you'll ever find on a fat bike. The bulbous tires and odd look just don't do it for me, but that doesn't mean I'm not curious.
Over the last few years we've seen a rise in the discipline, and several pro mountain bikers have given a go at making them look rad for promo videos. Some were alright. Others were downright bad. Watching a rider that you know can shred the tires off a downhill bike make muted, awkward moves on fat bike just looks odd, and so far they haven't made me go running to the nearest bike shop to try one out.
Even so, I'm on a mission to find the best fat bike vids on the net. Surely someone can do these big wheel behemoths justice?
I'll kick things off with a few Pat Smage videos. He's a seven time AMA Moto Trials National Champion, and does a great job of showcasing the capabilities of a huge tire:

This one of my buddy Glen from like 5 years ago sparked my interest, and now I finally have one. They are a good time. Scoff all you guys want, they are fun, which is what riding should be all about. Leave the hating to the whiny skater kids.
