Kyle Warner is not yet a big name. However, with an impressive 2013 season, A top ten at the Colorado Enduro World Series race, and a ton of raw talent, he has a lot of people excited to see what is in store for the young American in 2014. This past winter Kyle signed a deal with Marin Bikes and SR Suntour to become their top American Enduro racer and compete in the North American Enduro Tour.

For the 2014 race season Kyle will be piloting the Marin Attack Trail. The frame is a completely stock size large. The only modification is a -1 degree Cane Creek AngleSet bringing the head tube angle to a very slack 65.5-degrees. The frame is completed with a Cane Creek DB Air rear shock and a KS Lev post.

Kyle will be returning to the SR Suntour team for the third season and will be racing the Auron RC2 fork. Word on the street is that Suntour has a new rear shock in the works, which may be seen from time to time for testing purposes.

The Attack Trail is one of three new Marin bikes sporting 27.5 inch wheels in 2014. The ENVE AM hoops are laced to Stealth hubs and wrapped in Maxxis Rubber.

The drivetrain and braking duties for this bike are covered by Shimano. Kyle will be racing with SLX, XT, and XTR groups this season aboard his different bikes. He is running 180mm Ice-tec rotors front and rear and an 11-36t cassette with a 38-26 front chainring set up. For most races this year Kyle will be running a 2x front chainring set up and an MRP guide. He cites the ability to recover in the transfer stages as the main reason for running this set up.

β€œFor the majority of last year I raced with either a 38t or 36t chainring and a chain guide. It was an awesome setup, however I just felt myself getting beat down on consecutive days of riding. So after a bunch of off-season testing, granny ring it is, haha.”

Kyle has been training with power this off-season and with the help of Stages cycling and coaching from Carmichael Training systems. Things are looking bright for the young American.

As far as contact points go Kyle's cockpit is completed with A'ME Tri grips as well as a Deity Cavity stem and Zink handlebar. Kyle is also running a pair of Xpedo Baldwin pedals that look slightly different from production. An SDG Circuit saddle finishes off the build and keeps things light and efficient.

Kyle's season kicks off at the Sea Otter Classic and the following weekend at the first round of the Enduro World Series in Chile.
