Loic and Finn switch to Maxxis in 2019 and dominate. Gwin, Mulally, Moir switch to Kenda, not so much.

Could be a custom size? considering its alloy. Have noticed loic seems to run smaller looking frames for his height

Funny they produce a 27" dh tyre but its not on the rear, almost like the athletes have discovered what a good tyre is and no longer want to run spesh

Carbon has proven itself to be tough as nails (go watch the santa cruz test clip on pinkbike) but manufactures seem to be building them heavier now to avoid warranty issues to the point there isnt much weight difference between a plastic & metal bike. I can understand why someone would want a light trail bike, but for bikes like this I see no point in carbon. Not everyone is an enduro racer (or gives a sh*t) people on these bikes are generally winching to the top of a hill then bombing down, doing jumps or shuttle runs. I have...

Spesh really needs to offer an ally version of this bike, or even an aluminium frameset (dreams are free). Their bikes are so expensive now its like they are turning in to some sort of elitist brand. nobody wants to fork out $$ for a high end carbon frame with cheap components. If they do a metal bike I will look forward to buying one.
