So when is Shawn Neer going to get the recognition and support that he deserves. He was in the hot seat last year for over an half hour and ended up in the top 20 and was the 2nd fastest american but they never interviewed. Now this year he was in the hot seat for ever, ended top 10, fastest american and they hardly mentioned him and only gave him a 5 second interview. He is a privateer that works a job and has no support. His bike is a clapped out Trek that has cracks in it and Trek...

5/29/2014 10:24am This might sound good in theory but the distributors- QBP, BTI and J&B streamline things in a HUGE way. Could you imagine how much time it would take for a shop to order individual things from every manufacturers. Not to mention the other end of it... Would manufacturers then sit on huge amounts of inventory only to fill tiny orders...

Nice one! I love watching the World Cup coverage but its refreshing to see a feature on an adventure, away from the competitive side of the "sport."

Someday the bike of the day will be a clapped out rig, ridden everyday by some underpaid but committed shredder. Anyone with money (or mommy's money) can put one of these together. I appreciate the concept of "Bike of The Day" but on some level it makes me want to barf.

This is Specialized's attempt to jump on a bandwagon without designing a real 650B bike. Its a 29" front triangle with a spacer. The rear end has a modified seat stay. The saddest part is that Big S dealers placed preseason orders for 26" bikes only to have a "mid season" (early season) release of a 650B. With the industry's marketing push of 650B there is almost no demand for the 26s and dealers now have thousands of dollars worth of inventory (which they JUST bought) that is no longer in demand. Specialized should be ashamed of themselves.

TLD helmets are over rated. A crash in a full face TLD moto helmet left me with a broken jaw last season. If you want real protection look elsewhere. There sure do LOOK good though!

THANKS VITAL MTB !!!!! So many of the entries were kick ass!!!! Almost every video got me amped up to ride and a number of them I watched over and over. If I had to pick a favorite shot it would have to be Kurt's high speed drift......I watched that scene more times than I can count. I look forward to tearing it up on my new ride and will start working on a follow up vid right away!! Thanks again.
