When a frame weight is given, it's assumed that the weight includes the rear shock. If the given weight does not include the shock, then it must be noted, or else the stat is misleading. This is especially important when the article is specifically about weight. Just sayin'.

`gotcha. I always find these "look at this light bike!" things really funny when it comes from a bike company. The only part that makes this bike different than what any weenie can build is the frame and shock. So lets compare weights of frame + shock: then you know what is the lightest bike you can build with whatever parts you want. That said: welcome to the end of race season vital fans.

foam grips and no bash? come on- it would have weighed 33.3 lbs with lock-ons and a bash guard. then i wouldn't have had to make this stupid comment.
