The new trail "quid Pro Flow" is good, it still needs a little work and some rain to pack it in. should be an interesting Super D the way they are going. I rode it yesterday and there is a decent climb out of the "quid" trail. the race will be won on that climb, who ever can put their head down and hammer it will take it I think. As for communication breakdown it isn't finished yet, They put in a few new trails before that one. The start will be just before the rock drop on the 338...

Last I checked pro downhillers are athletes and a great rider should be able to win on any kind of course. It isn't the ideal course but it sure seemed to produce some good racing this year! Downhill needs variety in courses otherwise it get stale in a way. not every DH course has to be big and burley, because not every country has that kind of terrain.

You don't need a soundtrack to every part of your life. trust me people you will enjoy racing and riding much more when the only sounds you hear are your bike ripping down the mountain. I am glad that helmet cams are going to be allowed, especially when you don't get tons of runs and you want to memorize courses before its race time!

8/4/2010 7:42pm pure BS from the UCI. Mountain bikers need to take back our sport in the same way BMX did in the late 90's. Dew tour and X games are bigger than UCI racing and the riders make more money. UCI and USAcycling has never been interested in DH or gravity events and has been evident for the last 15 years...
