Jason McRoy was interviewed by Carlton Reid at Whickham Thorns BMX track in Gateshead. The extract includes footage from the 1993 Reebok Eliminator on the Kamikaze course on Mammoth Mountain, California. There used to be this beat up VHS copy of Chain Gang episodes at the first shop I worked for. It had the crustiest, decomposing shrink wrap I've ever seen struggling to keep the tape inside the sleeve. I'm not even sure it was a legitimate copy meant for sale.

Very Cool old video! I met Jason back in 1993 at the Hunter Mountain World cup and got a chance meet him and work on his bike. He got there before the GT team truck came! He was a super nice guy and was one of those guys that would have won a fair share of races. Sad that he left before his time, but again a great guy and I am sure there are a lot of people who would say the same. RIP Jason
