As a lifelong flat pedal aficionado these sound promising. What I really want to see is a version with a lace cover. My trusty freerider pros laces are always covered in burrs!

Exactly. It's not a scrub if you don't slide off the lip. Scrubs are possible on a mountain bike, but they're ridiculously hard. Eliot Jackson, Aaron Gwin, Ian Morrison, and maybe three other people in the world have done a legit tire-sliding scrub on an MTB, and for those guys it's still kind of a roll of the dice every time- sometimes the tire slides too far and they can't pull it back. I don't see the benefit of watering down the word and losing sight of how enormously hard an actual MTB scrub is. That would be like me...

Man that trail was so fun! True story- as a 16yr old jr DH shredder back in the day I helped build the course with HB & Chad Cheney. I shaped all the jumps and drops and was the guinea pig jumping everything! It was so cool to see all of the famous WC guys ride what I built and I even towed some female pros into the drops and road gap early in the week before practice started. It seems like forever ago now

I ride weekly through South Dakota winters, as long as it’s above 0 degrees F. In my experience suspension components, hydraulic brakes, and especially reverbs perform at less than 100% of warm weather operating performance when the temps are below freezing. I’ve had 2 reverbs the last 2 years and even when they are working great at warm temps they are super slow to return to full extension in below freezing temps. Once one developed some sag it would get stuck down and would not return until it was warm in the shop at home. I was happy with the...
