Thanks for the update! I used the Canyon size guide and it says that I should use XL too but if I change the leg value 1cm less its L. But I think bigger is better too in this case so will go for that. Just need to see if they will build any more XL bikes this year or if I have to wait for 2019 edition.

It's a good time to be a bike rider. Bikes of every level have never been better, and top tier performance never more affordable. When direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand Canyon launched the Torque in late 2017, the bike left us equal parts excited as it did scratching our heads. Where does a 175mm-travel bike belong? Is it an enduro bike? A freeride bike (whatever that means these days)? A superenduro bike (again, we’re lost)? A downhilll bike you can pedal? Do these classifications even matter? We wanted to suss out where this bike is most at home, how easy it is...

Great review and videos Jeff! What size did you ride? I am 187cm and since you are 188cm it would be interesting to know which size you used. I will probably buy a CF8.0 and use if for about 50% trail riding and 50% climb/enduro/downhill and lift/downhill. Why did you think riding single tracks was boring? Was it because it gets exhausting pedaling with 180/170mm suspension in the long run or some other reason? Have you tried the YT Capra 27 CF? Any thoughts about those two bikes?
