I got this bike because it’s what I wanted. I plan on getting another new carbon bike next year. Why in the world would you talk like your 2012 domain is better than this. This bike is not just a bike, it is a piece of art. Everyone likes different things, but t his costs what it did because it is such high quality.

This this is going to be bombproof. The more expensive you get on a bike the less plastic you have and the more durable it becomes. It’s not true in all cases, but it is true in a lot.

I think long term compatibility on non t-type chainrings will be just fine. When I do need a new chainring, t-type specific are out there now and I will probably get one but it works flawlessly the way it is. I actually called and talked to our 5dev rep and he confirmed to me before I got the chainring that they had a test rider using the 5dev chainring with the t-type and it was compatible. And yes way SRAM said they have to buy their entire kit. That was their entire sales pitch. The "transmission" was supposed to work...

So I got this before t type specific chainrings came out but it is compatible.
