Logan is as sure footed as a mountain goat- he really didn't practice any of that before he hit it. Segment was shot January 2010 around Grafton and the Rampage site. The 3D short took 3rd in the 7th Annual LA 3D Film Festival that May and coincidentally the Rampage later that year was also shot in 3D by Hi- Ground. Logan's clip was the second segment of my 3D project and this one I took my time and utilized the new 3D blu ray technololgy. Most segments will be available in 2D every couple weeks. Thanks for posting.

You can't beat true 3D shot with dual cameras- Redbull/Freeride gave in to the dual camera crews. The next Harry Potter will not be 3D because it was not shot in 3D and conversions almost always are terrible. Algorithmic 3D depthmaps never beat the real thing. Go take a test drive. There is a great deal of material out there in 3D that would run on the new TV's, but you need to hook your computer up to view it (youtube has a full color 3D player if you have the monitor/tv, also YABAZAM.com). 60 and 120 HZ 3D tv's...

They look like Silicon Mini Si 2k's. THey allow for a close interaxial in order to get close-ups and obviously can be moved easily. ONly downside is that they need to be cabled to a laptop, but they shoot up to 75fps and have a larger (1/2" I believe) image sensors.

You actually could show up with 2 cannon models that have a LANC port with a sync sheppard and shoot the same 3D, except for the higher speed frame rate. You'd have to vary your interaxial based on the distance, but it would work GREAT (unless you play it on an imax). The cannon image sensors are huge, thus why many use the 5 and 7D'S. It would be easy to use a side by side for the far away outside shooting. I have no idea why they would use a beam splitter except to do interviews, but they have...

THanks. go there, ride them, donate a little or buy a dvd off www.pawoods.com. i really like their model where making the trails public is actually keeping them open and I want to see it work ( it does cost a lot of money). FYI, the footage of CVD was shot by his father, Galen, while I was snapping stills. Cool guy.

no dig, I think chris would agree with your message of working to ride trails and respect them. although you should look into the facts before you bash a fellow rider and all-around cool guy. 1. Chris dug and worked for weeks at Catty before he rode there, which got me into their club to film Catty in my last movie. (best zipline work I've done) 2. Chri s lives in the next town and is a local. he also hooks the catty guys up with sponsor swag and such. 3. Nobody would have filmed Catty without the consent of...
