The only time my 26 inch wheels broke on my Trek Session was when UPS fucked up. The 27.5 gamblers I rode were just...not as nimble.

Mountain biking as a whole isn't popular. It isn't covered regularly on ESPN, NBC, ABC, really any television network. Marketing with sex is done and -does- work in every industry. Why are we bashing an ad campaign that shines a small spotlight on biking?

So...another company is selling their wares with sex. Only this time, they're also showing mountain biking being cool, with busty women, and that we should mountain bike to get with said busty women. How exactly is this a bad thing for a sport that's, quite frankly, underrepresented?

The same happened back when Hill was on top - he was far more quick than the competition for several years, and then everyone caught up. Riding is fun, and should always be fun, but one cannot forget that these are professionals we are talking about. Racing is their job, and as with any job, if you aren't putting in the effort and getting results, you're going to be replaced.
