That is a real sex machine. Only problem is one run at Plattekill MTN and whole bike would be destroyed.

I really appreciate your clarification through these comments. I hope people read this section and realize that is was the build you were bashing and not the Troy in general.

Then Devinci made a huge mistake in sending you the SL. But Im sure you have enough experience to recognize that was a XC build on that bike. Why not test an XC build on XC trails. I dont test a downhill bike on an All Mountain trail and expect it to perform well. Perception is reality and whether you like it or not your opinion sways peoples choices and testing an XC bike on an AM trail will give people a bad impression of a very good bike. I dont know very many people that would ride that build...

Why do people keep reviewing the SL Is is by far the worst build of all the Troys. It has a substandard 140mm fork when all the others are 150mm. If you review a XC bike on trails that are more than XC oriented, this is what you get. Why dont you review a Carbon frame with the XP parts build, then you will know what a great bike for the price is. Ill ship you mine and you can test it. You will be singing a different tune then. I hate it when the review is the top end...

I have tried the Foss version of those tubes and they work better than the regular tubes I was running on my DH bike. well worth the $. Just as light as tubeless but with out all the goo

5 year warranty? I would have to go with the Devinci Atlas' lifetime warranty. What happened to the SC of old, made in the USA and lifetime warranties

Im glad they are getting better, they still have a long way to go. I really think this time next year people will be talking about 27.5 bikes anyway

A better version of a 29er maybe. "Awkward in tight turns and slow maneuvers and flexy wheel set". It still has the same inherent 29er problems. It might jump better but it still jumps odd and you can see that in there distance jump competition. You can even read through the comments of the paid spokesmen opinions " I find myself wanting to ride it all the time" but I dont I ride my 26". lol
