Hey Tonik666, Glad to hear you enjoyed your Formula fork. We don’t get many issues with creaking crown steerer units but they can happen. Long travel forks are more prone to this as they are essentially a longer lever that put more stress on the CSU. As the Selva V is offered in 180mm travel - the longest single crown fork we’ve made - it uses a stronger steerer tube than previous generation Selvas. Agreed (for sure, brutal timing), but it's cool to see that Formula ditched the coil negative spring that's been plaguing their reviews for a while, and also did it in a unique way with their concentric bypass valve. If it works consistently and allows them to run a looser seal that has less drag, that's a win.
