The pedal at the end probably won't be as bad when they (hopefully) throw in some urban-dh obstacles for pump and carrying speed thru the flat tight corners. We might see some very sketchy gaps at the rocks, It'll definitely be interesting to see how to big dogs slice thru the terrain.

I don't know if the bicycle industry has seen a full-CNC frame before, but one will be live in production during winter/spring. Pole Bicycles are currently working with a prototype, The first one out of the oven is a long travel 29r for enduro and we might see a downhill model on the world cup

For XC and Trail-riding in general, a long CS means more grip while climbing. But you can't just throw a longer CS at an XC-bike because it adds leverage and you that needs to be taken into account when on the linkage design. I believe that the claim ... more »

I totally agree with the topic in question. I've been a test rider for Pole Bicycles since day one. We've been making our bikes longer on the front and rear on every iteration. We've gotten a pretty good insight on how a small tweak in the geometry can have

Apologies if someone is offended by me bumping up this old thread. But we just got the first objective review out by Bike Radar, where Seb Stott pretty much sums up on where long and slack 29ers excel. https://youtu.be/zh3xSX-BCCM We are also working ... more »

Yes, the first prototypes (5 of them) were made by BTR and they were used to get going on the geometries. Here is actually a picture of the first prototype, it's been a long way from there to this point

Yes we are going to (the designer Leo also has some wild ideas on how to improve the strength of wheels to make it happen for downhill). We are also going to see where we can take the head angle on the downhill bike and the chainstay length. For me the ... more »

I've got great news for you guys wanting longer, lower an slacker bikes. I've been testing Pole-bicycles since the first prototype. And we've been pushing the envelope on how long and slack we can go with them. And we are still pushing
